The power of a laptop in the palm of your hands is such an appealing concept to me. And if there's a traffic jam, it can add hours to their communte. With the Gibbs Aquada, they could just drive into the bay to bypass the tie-up and be home in time for dinner.bbnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5452347.post-1062510946690543882003-09-02T09:55:00.000-04:002003-09-02T09:55:46.730-04:00Japanese TV SkitsI find these TV skits wonderfully imaginative and entertaining. A plane was taking off from Kennedy Airport. After it reached a comfortable cruising altitude, the captain made an announcement over the intercom. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Flight number 293, nonstop from New York to Los Angeles. Not soon, right NOW. Please! I have been imagining something like this for the past two years. Imagine never worrying about having enough space for opening your laptop on the airplane tray table. The PC will be in your pocket (or overhead bin), the monitor, webcam and earphones in your glasses and your peripherals nearby. With the ability to send SMS and run IM clients, it'd sure be cheaper than using the voice Airphone for keeping in touch while in flight.bbnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5452347.post-1055137434587320712003-06-09T01:43:00.000-04:002003-06-29T16:39:03.330-04:00Priority Pass seems to make a lot of sense, unless I'm missing something.
